Programming & Site Selection
The initial phase begins with proper programming and planning. With more than forty years of space planning experience we work closely with you to define your programmatic needs by gathering details specific to your practice and analyzing that information. Once a program is established MMA’s design team works in concert with our in-house development and real estate team to find the space or site for your new medical office or building.
Design
The design stage for your medical office or ASC will use the information gathered during the programming phase to create several concepts. The feedback we receive during the review of those concepts will lead to the final, approved design. After approval we will prepare architectural drawings and specifications that are used to price, permit, and build your new medical office.
Pricing & Permit
With the completed architectural drawings, we continue to guide the process by working with state and local agencies to secure the permits necessary for construction. During this time, we also manage the bid process with trusted general contractors to determine the cost of construction.
Construction
During construction we work as your advocate. Our team makes regular site visits, reviews specification documents, and works closely with the general contractor to ensure the project stays on schedule and the construction complies with the intent of the design documents.
